FlightSense AI: Revolutionizing Flight School Operations

Flight training technology is taking a significant leap forward. FlightSense, the AI-powered flight training platform trusted by hundreds of pilots across the United States, announced a substantial expansion of its capabilities on August 14, 2026. The Utah-based company is transitioning from a training recordkeeping tool into a comprehensive flight school management system.

The updated platform now incorporates features for scheduling, dispatch, maintenance tracking, and invoicing. This allows flight schools to manage their entire business operations from one seamlessly integrated system. In the past, most flight schools had to juggle multiple disconnected tools like paper binders, spreadsheets, and separate software packages for different functions. FlightSense eliminates this fragmentation entirely.

FlightSense already supports FAR Part 141 compliance, providing schools with a digital platform for FAA-aligned recordkeeping, AI-powered voice debriefs, ACS task tracking, and real-time student progress insights. The new operational features mean that a dispatched aircraft, an active student, and a completed lesson can now automatically generate a ready-to-review invoice — all within the same connected workflow. CEO and Founder Taylor Horsager envisions the platform’s mission as equipping flight schools with the infrastructure needed to meet both today’s training demands and tomorrow’s regulatory expectations.
