IM8, David Beckham’s Wellness Brand, Secures $1 Billion for Global Expansion

David Beckham’s wellness brand, IM8, has secured a monumental $1 billion in non-dilutive growth financing. This funding, provided by venture capital firm General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund (CVF), solidifies IM8’s position as one of the most well-funded consumer health startups in history. The deal aims to supercharge IM8’s global marketing and direct-to-consumer expansion across its existing 43-country footprint.

IM8, co-founded in late 2024 by football legend David Beckham and Prenetics CEO Danny Yeung, has seen explosive growth. In just 19 months, the brand has skyrocketed from zero to over $200 million in annualized run-rate revenue. In June 2026 alone, the brand achieved a record-breaking $17 million in preliminary monthly revenue. Prenetics has since revised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to between $210 million and $220 million. It also projects an ambitious $300 million in annualized run-rate revenue by year-end and more than $400 million in full-year 2027.

IM8 currently offers two flagship NSF Certified for Sport products: Daily Ultimate Essentials, a 90-ingredient daily nutrition powder, and Daily Ultimate Longevity. A new IM8 Hydration product is set to launch in Q4 2026, followed by a premium wellness gummies line in Q1 2027. Celebrity ambassadors, including tennis star Aryna Sabalenka and basketball player Giannis Antetokounmpo, are expanding the brand’s cultural influence alongside Beckham himself.
