Introducing the Pixel 11 Series: Google’s AI-Powered Masterpiece with Tensor G6 Chip
Google has officially raised the curtain on its eagerly awaited Pixel 11 series. The grand reveal took place on August 12, 2026, at the Made by Google event in New York City. This series marks a significant milestone in the evolution of AI-powered smartphones. The lineup includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, all of which are powered by the innovative Tensor G6 chip, built on TSMC’s state-of-the-art 2nm process node.
Google claims that the Tensor G6 offers 25% faster web browsing, 15% quicker app launches, and a 50% increase in TPU compute compared to its predecessor. This allows for up to 3.5 times faster on-device AI processing while consuming significantly less energy. The chip operates the latest Gemini Nano model, enabling Gemini Intelligence to autonomously assist users across third-party apps, such as booking rides, ordering groceries, and more.
The camera upgrades are just as impressive. The base model Pixel 11 features a new 48MP main sensor with a 56% increase in light sensitivity compared to the Pixel 10. It also supports 5x telephoto with up to 30x SuperRes Zoom. The iconic camera bar has been reduced by 40%, and the phones now come with 12GB of RAM as standard, starting with a storage capacity of 256GB. The base Pixel 11 is priced at $899, while the Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099. All models are now available for pre-order, with general availability scheduled for August 20, 2026.
