Google Debuts Pixel 11 & Watch 5 at the Exciting Made by Google Event
Today is a significant day for tech enthusiasts as Google hosts its much-awaited hardware event of the year – the Made by Google 2026. This live event, taking place in New York City at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT, promises to be a grand affair with comedian Trevor Noah as the host and celebrity appearances from Alex Cooper, Stephen Curry, Shubman Gill, and Ayami Nakajo.
The event is set to unveil Google’s next generation of Pixel smartphones and wearables. The lineup, as per numerous reports, includes four new phones: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. These devices will come with the latest Android 17 and feature a new Tensor G6 chip built on a 2nm process. Additionally, the phones will also boast Gemini-powered camera tools.
Alongside the phones, Google is also expected to introduce the Pixel Watch 5 and a speculated new tracking accessory, the Pixel Tag.
Google has confirmed that the pre-orders for Pixel 11 will open today, coinciding with the event. The devices are expected to be available in stores around August 20, 2026. The keynote will be livestreamed on Google’s official YouTube channel for those who cannot attend in person. Interestingly, this event is scheduled a week earlier than last year’s Pixel 10 launch, highlighting Google’s eagerness to compete in the ever-growing premium smartphone market.
