IM8, David Beckham’s Wellness Brand, Secures $1 Billion in Growth Financing
David Beckham’s premium wellness and supplement brand, IM8, has secured a staggering US$1 billion in non-dilutive growth financing from venture capital titan General Catalyst’s Consumer Value Fund (CVF). This monumental funding cements IM8’s position as one of the fastest-growing consumer health brands globally.
Co-founded by Beckham and Prenetics CEO Danny Yeung in late 2024, IM8 has seen an explosive growth from zero to over $200 million in annualized run-rate revenue within a mere 19 months of operations. The brand reported a record-breaking $17 million in preliminary revenue in June 2026 alone. Consequently, Prenetics has raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to between $210–$220 million.
IM8’s two flagship products, Daily Ultimate Essentials, a 90-ingredient powdered multivitamin drink mix, and Daily Ultimate Longevity, are now available across 43 countries. The funding will primarily be used for digital and offline marketing, ambassador partnerships, and customer acquisition. General Catalyst has agreed to fund 70% of IM8’s marketing spend in exchange for a capped share of income tied to newly acquired customers.
The brand boasts a roster of high-profile ambassadors including tennis star Aryna Sabalenka, NBA legend Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Formula 1 driver Ollie Bearman. IM8 is also gearing up to launch a new Hydration product in Q4 2026 and a premium wellness gummies line in early 2027.
