Chanel Beauty Records Impressive 8% Growth, Brand Surges by 16% in H1 2026
Iconic French luxury house Chanel has reportedly posted remarkable first-half 2026 results, with comparable revenue jumping approximately 16% year-over-year. This impressive performance outpaces rivals including LVMH (up just 2%), Kering (up 1%), and Hermès (up 6%), according to a Bloomberg report citing a source familiar with the company’s performance published on August 4–5, 2026.
Chanel’s Fragrance and Beauty division, which represents roughly 25% of the group’s total revenue, recorded approximately 8% sales growth in the first half. The results underscore the resilience of prestige beauty, with Chanel growing its cosmetics and fragrance business globally despite softer consumer sentiment weighing on parts of the luxury sector.
The strong group-wide performance has been widely attributed to creative director Matthieu Blazy. His debut collections arrived in stores in March and immediately captivated international shoppers, sparking what social media is calling “Blazymania.”
- Sales in the US surged by more than 25%
- The Watches and Fine Jewellery division soared approximately 35%, boosted by the Coco Crush jewellery line
- Growth was reported across all regions, including China and the Middle East
