Anticipation Builds on Wall Street for Key Earnings Week: Spotlight on MSFT, Meta, Apple, and Amazon

Wall Street is on the cusp of a significant earnings period, with seven of the world’s most influential corporations — Microsoft (MSFT), Meta Platforms (META), Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN), Coca-Cola (KO), Boeing (BA), and Ford Motor (F) — poised to unveil their Q2 2026 financial results between July 27 and July 31. This coincides with a crucial Federal Reserve interest rate decision due on Wednesday.

Investor focus is sharply honed on AI capital expenditure and cloud growth among the tech giants. Microsoft, slated to report on July 29, is anticipated to reveal key data on Azure cloud growth, with management projecting a 39–40% constant-currency expansion. Amazon’s report is due on July 30, with the consensus among analysts predicting $196.71 billion in revenue and an EPS of $1.82. Bank of America has upped its AWS revenue growth forecast to 33% year-over-year for Q2, suggesting Wall Street may be underestimating Amazon’s cloud prowess. Meta and Apple will conclude the tech reporting cycle later in the week.

Outside the realm of tech, Boeing and Ford will provide insight into the state of U.S. industrial manufacturing, while Coca-Cola’s results will act as a gauge for global consumer demand in the face of ongoing inflation pressures. The concurrent release of June Core PCE inflation data on Thursday introduces an additional layer of complexity, as investors grapple with the possibility of the Fed cutting rates before the end of the year. Without a doubt, this week stands as one of the most momentous for financial markets in 2026.
