Recode Studios Acquires ₹8.32 Crore Stake in Luxury Beauty Brand Aflairza
India’s beauty and personal care sector has witnessed a significant development. Recode Studios Limited has successfully completed Phase I of its strategic acquisition of Aflairza Professionals Private Limited. This move secures a 33% equity stake in the premium Korean-formulation beauty brand for an aggregate investment of ₹8.32 crore (approx. USD $1 million).
The transaction, which was finalized on July 23, 2026, signifies a major milestone in Recode Studios’ expansion into the luxury beauty and cosmetics segment. The deal was structured as a combination of fresh equity subscription and secondary share transfers from existing shareholders, with shares priced at ₹285 each.
Aflairza, founded by Sagar Urvish Gandhi and Deep Parekh, offers professional-grade beauty and cosmetics products. These products, developed using innovative Korean formulations, cater to both beauty professionals and high-end consumers across India. The brand reported an impressive ₹1.47 crore in revenue within its first two months of operation as a private limited entity.
Recode Studios has plans to acquire an additional 18% stake by February 2027. This will bring its total controlling interest to 51%. The investment will be used to enhance Aflairza’s manufacturing capabilities, diversify its premium product portfolio, and expand distribution across both online and offline retail channels. Analysts suggest that this move reflects India’s growing demand for premium beauty products.
