Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe: A New Luxury Destination Following a $200M Transformation
Lake Tahoe welcomes a spectacular new luxury destination. Caesars Entertainment has officially unveiled the Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino. This marks the completion of a comprehensive, multi-phased renovation of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe property. The transformation, costing an estimated $200 million, redefines the South Shore experience for a new generation of travelers.
The grand opening took place on July 6, 2026, in Stateline, Nevada. The event featured a champagne reception and a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony with restaurateur and TV personality Lisa Vanderpump.
The newly reimagined resort boasts redesigned guest rooms, a fully modernized casino floor, and a variety of dining and entertainment options:
- Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen
- Wolf by Vanderpump
- A new High Dive Pool and Lounge
- A live entertainment venue — the 9,300-seat Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre at Caesars Republic — hosting a Summer Concert Series
Connected via an indoor walkway to neighboring Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, the combined resort now offers guests access to nearly 1,250 hotel rooms and approximately 88,000 square feet of gaming space. This makes it the largest casino complex on Lake Tahoe’s South Shore. The properties also house more than 1,400 slot machines and 100 live-action table games.
“The result is a resort that feels vibrant, elevated and unmistakably Tahoe, whether you’re here for the views, the dining or the moments you can’t get anywhere else,” said Karie Hall, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the property.
