Valentino Beauty Unveils Vendetta: The Most Daring Fragrance Launch in Six Years

Marking a dramatic comeback to the world of prestige fragrances, Valentino Beauty has launched Vendetta — its first major fragrance franchise in six years. The collection, unveiled on July 13, 2026, presents two unique yet harmonious scents: Vendetta Donna and Vendetta Uomo. Both fragrances embody a theme of raw passion and intense emotion.

Vendetta Donna, crafted by master perfumer Dominique Ropion and Andrew Everett, is a floral gourmand woody scent that revolves around a narcotic tuberose heart. It’s enhanced by an exclusive Tuberose Osmobloom™ extract and deep sandalwood. On the other hand, Vendetta Uomo, composed by master perfumer Marie Salamagne, is a woody spicy gourmand. It opens with Peruvian ginger CO₂, transitions through cinnamon liquor, and settles on a rich patchouli base.

The pair pays tribute to Valentino’s original Vendetta scent, introduced by founder Valentino Garavani in 1991. Simultaneously, it introduces a completely modern olfactory identity. The sculptural bottles feature a bold graphic V motif and pleated caps, inspired by the Maison’s couture collections. Vendetta Donna stands out with its striking deep crimson juice, visually echoing Valentino’s iconic red.

The global campaign, captured by Inez & Vinoodh, features Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård in a cinematic “us-against-the-world” romance. As reported by Business of Fashion, Valentino Beauty — operating under L’Oréal’s license — has grown from approximately €50 million to over €700 million. This launch marks a defining moment for the brand.
