Introducing the Oura Ring 5: The World’s Tiniest Smart Health Ring
Wellness technology company ŌURA has officially launched the Oura Ring 5, a significant advancement in wearable health tracking technology. Touted as the world’s smallest smart ring, it started shipping on June 4, 2026 and has already created a stir in the health and beauty wellness communities.
The Oura Ring 5, a remarkable 40% smaller than its predecessor (Oura Ring 4), measures a mere 6.09mm in width and 2.28mm in thickness. This makes it look like a traditional fine-jewelry band. Despite its compact size, it features upgraded precision sensors, a battery life of 6 to 9 days, and tracks over 50 health metrics. Crafted from lightweight, non-allergenic titanium, it is available in six finishes including Gold, Deep Rose, and Stealth, with prices ranging from $399 to $499.
Along with the hardware upgrade, Oura introduced a robust new software suite. This includes Health Radar, a proactive cardiovascular and respiratory monitoring feature, Nighttime Blood Pressure tracking, GLP-1 Insights for users on weight-loss medications, and an AI-enabled care partnership with Counsel Health. This allows users in 43 U.S. states to consult licensed physicians directly in-app.
“Oura Ring 5 is a big step toward our vision of giving every body a voice,” said Tom Hale, CEO of Oura.
The ring is available for purchase at ouraring.com and major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Costco, and Walmart.
