Riyadh Air Launches Ticket Sales for London Route on New Boeing Dreamliners
Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, Riyadh Air, has officially launched public ticket sales for its inaugural route connecting Riyadh and London Heathrow. This marks a significant milestone for the airline, which aims to reach over 100 destinations by 2030.
Bookings opened on May 19, 2026, with full commercial service aboard state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners set to begin on July 1, 2026. The route will operate daily flights featuring a four-class configuration:
- Business Elite
- Business
- Premium Economy
- Economy
Passengers will experience cutting-edge amenities including Panasonic Avionics’ entertainment system with:
- Over 500 movies
- 600 TV series from Disney+, HBO Max, and Warner Bros.
- More than 1,000 music albums
In addition, the airline has launched Sfeer, its new loyalty program, which offers founding members a Best Offer Guarantee, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and points that never expire. CEO Tony Douglas stated that the route “demonstrates our deep commitment to delivering a truly world-class journey for our guests, one that blends exceptional comfort, cutting-edge technology and our distinctive Saudi ‘Hafawa’ hospitality.”
The Riyadh-London route strengthens the key economic corridor between two G20 capital cities and positions Riyadh as a major transport hub for onward connections. Riyadh Air has been operating trial flights since October 2025 using a leased aircraft named “Jamila” to refine its service before the official launch.
