CJ Olive Young’s Wellness Curation Platform ‘Olive Better’ Attracts 1.8M Users in 100 Days

South Korean beauty retailer CJ Olive Young announced that its wellness curation platform, Olive Better, has experienced a significant surge in membership. In just 100 days since its launch, the platform has attracted 1.8 million new members, indicating a rapid growth in the global K-wellness market.

On May 14, 2026, the company disclosed that foreign customers now make up nearly 50% of sales at some key Olive Better locations. This trend shows a growing international interest that extends far beyond traditional K-beauty products. Initially, foreign customer sales represented about 7% of revenue after the platform’s launch on January 30. However, these figures have seen a dramatic increase in recent months.

Olive Better currently features an extensive range of approximately 560 brands and roughly 13,000 products. The platform provides innovative formats, including quick-consumption “wellness shots” and individually-sold gummy-type health supplements. This approach enhances product flexibility and offers customers a wider choice.

Additionally, the retailer has introduced a new private-label wellness brand, “All the Better”. This brand offers around 50 products at affordable prices, lowering barriers for first-time wellness consumers. Industry analysts suggest that Olive Young is successfully expanding its consumer base from cosmetics to health and wellness. This shift aligns with the increasing global consumer interest in Korean lifestyle trends.
