Elixir Aircraft, French Trainer, Commences Deliveries in the U.S.

French manufacturer, Elixir Aircraft, has proudly announced the initiation of its first deliveries to the U.S. market. The aircraft are being delivered to flight schools in Florida and Arizona, marking a significant milestone for the company and representing the culmination of a decade of development work.

The first batch of aircraft will be delivered to Cirrus Aviation, a Florida-based flight school that has ordered 10 aircraft. In addition, Sierra Charlie Aviation in Scottsdale, Arizona will also receive its first unit as part of a pre-order for 100 aircraft. This two-seat trainer was certified under FAA FAR Part 23 in July 2025, following its EASA CS-23 certification in 2020.

“The start of our deliveries to the United States marks a decisive milestone for Elixir Aircraft,” said Arthur Léopold-Léger, president and co-founder. “Seeing our aircraft soon flying in the American sky, and then arriving at Oshkosh by air, is a great source of pride for our entire team.”

The aircraft boasts a one-piece carbon structure designed to reduce parts count and maintenance needs. Currently, Elixir has 50 aircraft operating globally and over 300 aircraft in its total order book. The first three U.S.-based aircraft will be displayed at AirVenture this summer, marking the first time Elixir aircraft at the show will have arrived by air.
