Hertz Expands Premium Fleet with Addition of INEOS Grenadier 4X4
Hertz has recently announced a significant expansion of its premium vehicle lineup by introducing the INEOS Grenadier to its U.S. rental fleet. Starting this spring, customers will have the opportunity to reserve this highly sought-after British-designed luxury off-road SUV at select airport locations nationwide. Notably, Hertz will be offering the largest availability of Grenadiers for rent anywhere in the United States.
The partnership, officially announced on March 18, 2026, features the high-spec Grenadier Fieldmaster trim. This includes leather upholstery, heated seats, safari windows, a premium sound system, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The INEOS Grenadier 4X4, a perfect blend of British design and German engineering, will be available at 21 airport locations across the country.
“At Hertz, we’re focused on offering the newest and most exciting vehicles in the industry,” said Adnan Manzur, Senior Vice President of North America Customer Operations at Hertz. The Grenadier, which launched in 2022, features body-on-frame construction, solid axles, and permanent four-wheel drive. It was created to fill the gap left when Land Rover temporarily discontinued the Defender in 2016. This addition joins Hertz’s premium collection alongside vehicles like the Porsche Boxster, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Tesla Model 3.
