Samsung Galaxy S26 Series: Design Unveiled Ahead of February 2026 Launch
Through a code found in One UI 8.5, Samsung has inadvertently unveiled the design of its forthcoming Galaxy S26 series. This revelation provides tech enthusiasts with their first official sneak peek at the 2026 flagship smartphones, which are expected to launch in February.
The leaked renders display the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra with refined designs featuring more rounded corners and a revamped camera layout. The most striking feature is the S26 Ultra’s dramatically raised oval camera bump, which is prominently positioned on the left side of the device’s back panel. This marks a significant departure from the flat, integrated camera island of the S25 Ultra. The new design aligns with the aesthetic of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, suggesting a unified design language across Samsung’s premium range.
Renowned tipster OnLeaks has shared leaked dummy units of the S26 Ultra, which are rumored to feature enhanced camera specifications. These include an f/1.4 aperture upgrade that allows 47% more light to enter the sensor, significantly improving night photography capabilities. The device is also expected to include a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 chipset, a 200MP main sensor evolution, and expanded AI features that build on Galaxy AI with deeper on-device processing.
Industry sources suggest that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26 series at an Unpacked event in late February 2026. Retail availability is expected in March, representing a slight delay from Samsung’s traditional January announcement schedule. This could potentially be due to last-minute strategic adjustments to the product lineup.
