Apple Amplifies US Investment to $600B with Enhanced Manufacturing Focus
Apple has recently announced a colossal $100 billion expansion of its US commitment on August 7, 2025, escalating its total four-year investment to a staggering $600 billion. This ambitious initiative by the tech behemoth encompasses significant manufacturing partnerships spread across America.
The company has confirmed that its US silicon supply chain is geared up to manufacture more than 19 billion chips for Apple products in 2025. This includes production at TSMC’s Arizona facility using advanced process technologies. In addition, Apple is fortifying its partnerships with Texas Instruments, which will facilitate additional tool installations at facilities in Lehi, Utah, and Sherman, Texas.
Mark your calendars for the opening of a brand new Apple Manufacturing Academy in Detroit on August 19. Registration for this program, which was announced back in February, is now open. These initiatives underscore Apple’s commitment to domestic manufacturing, aligning with broader industry trends favoring US production.
