Hilton Unveils Apartment Collection Brand: A New Era for Extended-Stay Travelers

Global hospitality titan, Hilton, has recently announced the debut of its 26th brand, Apartment Collection by Hilton. This marks a significant foray into the apartment-style lodging sector. The new brand, poised for bookings to commence in the first half of 2026, signifies Hilton’s strategic initiative to cater to the burgeoning demand for flexible, home-like accommodations.

In collaboration with Placemakr, a premier apartment hospitality operator, Hilton plans to initially incorporate up to 3,000 fully furnished apartment-style units into its existing portfolio of approximately 10,000 such accommodations worldwide. The first properties are slated to open in major U.S. cities, including New York City, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.

The Apartment Collection will proffer a range of studio to four-bedroom furnished apartments. These will feature chef-ready kitchens, spacious separate living areas, and on-site laundry facilities. Unlike traditional vacation rentals, each property will uphold Hilton’s trusted brand standards, complete with 24/7 on-site support staff and full integration into the Hilton Honors loyalty program, enabling members to earn and redeem points.

Chris Nassetta, Hilton’s president and CEO, stated, “Apartment Collection by Hilton represents the next chapter in Hilton’s growth story.” The brand aims to cater to families, groups, and business travelers seeking extended stays. These travelers value the reliability and consistency of hotel service, coupled with the flexibility and space of apartment living. Select properties will also boast amenities such as fitness centers, rooftop pools, communal work spaces, and on-site dining options.
