Disney Destiny Introduces Haunted Mansion as a Unique Wedding Venue at Sea
Disney Cruise Line is set to bring a hauntingly romantic twist to destination weddings with the introduction of the Haunted Mansion Parlor wedding venue aboard the new Disney Destiny cruise ship. This unique venue, exclusively available starting from the ship’s May 14, 2026, sailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, provides couples with a spooky yet elegant setting to exchange vows.
Drawing inspiration from the beloved Disney Parks attraction, the Haunted Mansion Parlor mirrors a first-class drawing room from a classic cruise liner. It boasts eerie design elements such as shifting portraits that reveal the secrets of a ghostly sea captain and his bride-to-be. The famous hitchhiking ghosts even materialize in the parlor’s ornate mirrors, creating an immersive supernatural atmosphere.
The intimate venue can comfortably accommodate up to 25 wedding guests, including the couple. Wedding packages include an officiant, floral arrangements, and a cake and champagne celebration served in another unique venue on the cruise ship. “Couples today are looking for unique storylines and immersive experiences that represent their passion,” said Korri McFann, Marketing Director for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons.
Disney announced the venue during Halloween week and received bookings within two weeks. The Haunted Mansion Parlor is one of three wedding venues on the Disney Destiny, alongside the Black Panther-themed Grand Hall and the Doctor Strange-inspired bar, The Sanctum.
