Unveiling L’Oréal’s Revolutionary Ultra-Thin LED Face Mask at CES 2026
Beauty behemoth, L’Oréal, has taken the wraps off a groundbreaking LED face mask prototype at CES 2026. This innovation has earned them a spot as a CES Innovation Award honoree, announced on January 5, 2026. The device signifies a major leap forward in the realm of at-home anti-aging technology.
Breaking away from the rigid panel LED masks currently available, L’Oréal’s ultra-thin, flexible silicone mask is a game-changer. It boasts special separate sections specifically designed to target the under-eye area—a feature conspicuously absent in existing LED masks. The technology harnesses the power of red light (630 nm) and near-infrared light (830 nm) to wage war against fine lines, uneven skin tone, and sagging skin.
“This year, our pioneering advancements in light technologies at CES 2026 once again demonstrate our commitment to pushing the boundaries of new beauty solutions,” said Barbara Lavernos, Deputy CEO in charge of Research, Innovation and Technology at L’Oréal Groupe.
The mask is designed to integrate seamlessly into daily skincare routines with timed 10-minute sessions. This innovation is the result of a collaboration with iSmart, a global leader in LED device innovation. The device is slated for release in 2027 at a mid-range price point, although specific pricing details remain under wraps.
