Global Wellness Institute Announces New Season of Acclaimed Documentary Series

The non-profit Global Wellness Institute (GWI) has unveiled a new season of its highly praised documentary series, “In Pursuit of Wellness.” This announcement was made at the Global Wellness Summit in Dubai. The series is a production of the renowned BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions.

Over the past three years, the series has garnered a remarkable global response. It is set to return in 2026, with its worldwide premiere coinciding with the 20th Global Wellness Summit in Phuket, Thailand.

The upcoming season will revolve around three central themes that encapsulate the comprehensive wellness ecosystem. These include:

  • Wellness in the Home
  • Wellness in the Community
  • Wellness in the World

The series delves into how our domestic environments shape our physical and emotional well-being. It explores topics such as sleep, mental wellness, stress management, personal care rituals, and nutritional habits. Additionally, it investigates the influence of real estate, healthcare systems, and age care. The series also examines how communities can counteract loneliness and foster social connections.

“Seeing the reach and results of our series is a powerful reminder of audience appetite for wellness content that educates and inspires through the universally accessible lens of storytelling,” said Nancy Davis, Chief Creative Officer at GWI.
