Disney Cruise Line Discontinues Resort & Ticket Bundles
Effective from January 2, 2026, Disney Cruise Line has ceased the option to include Walt Disney World resort stays and theme park tickets directly to cruise bookings. This marks a notable shift for travelers who plan combined land and sea vacations.
This decision impacts new bookings from here on out. However, guests who have already secured a 2026 sailing with a ‘Land and Sea’ add-on will find their itineraries unchanged. But, in case modifications are required for hotel accommodations, room categories, or length of stay, the existing add-on must be cancelled and re-booked as a separate Walt Disney World reservation.
Disney Cruise Line has reassured passengers that ground transfers between Walt Disney World resorts and Port Canaveral remain unaffected by this change and can still be added directly to cruise bookings. This policy alteration signifies a move towards separating cruise and theme park vacation planning, which might necessitate guests to coordinate bookings through different channels.
The announcement comes as Disney Cruise Line continues to expand its fleet and destinations, with new ships and itineraries planned throughout 2026 and beyond.
