CAE Sets to Launch Training Program for Bombardier’s Premier Global 8000

CAE, a global leader in aviation training, has announced its plans to initiate the training of the first pilots for Bombardier’s new Global 8000 business jet in December 2024. The training will take place at its Montreal training center, marking a significant milestone as the aircraft gears up for its debut as the fastest business jet in the market.

As the Authorized Training Provider for Bombardier, CAE has crafted a comprehensive training program. This program leverages next-generation simulator technology, advanced courseware, and CORe training powered by CAE Rise. The Global 8000 stands out as the fastest business jet with the lowest cabin altitude of any civil aircraft, necessitating specialized training for pilots and maintenance technicians.

The training program encompasses both pilot instruction and maintenance training programs. These programs aim to enhance safety, coordination, and teamwork. As the in-service fleet expands, CAE intends to extend the training to more locations within its global network. This collaboration guarantees that operators will be fully equipped for the aircraft’s operational debut, ensuring an exceptional flying experience for customers.
