Supergoop! Appoints Former Amazon Exec Melis del Rey as New CEO
Supergoop!, the renowned sunscreen brand, has announced the appointment of Melis del Rey as its new CEO and Board Director, effective from December 8, 2024. Del Rey, with her past experience as the General Manager of Amazon US Health & Beauty, is recognized for her significant role in transforming the e-commerce giant into a leading player in the prestige beauty market.
This appointment follows a series of leadership changes at the SPF-focused company. Gregory Polcer, who had been serving as Interim CEO since May 2024, will remain on the board to ensure a seamless transition.

Del Rey brings to the table over two decades of experience in the global beauty industry. She has held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, working with renowned brands such as Pantene, Olay, and Pampers. At Amazon, she successfully attracted prestige brands to the platform, securing major partnerships with L’Oréal Luxe brands and Estée Lauder Companies.
