Samsung Showcases Groundbreaking AI-Driven 6G Technology at Silicon Valley Summit

Samsung Electronics played host to the Silicon Valley Future Wireless Summit 2025 on November 13th in Mountain View, California. The event was a platform for showcasing breakthrough AI-powered 6G communication technologies. Themed “Unlocking New Possibilities with AI-Centric Networks”, the event managed to attract approximately 100 industry leaders, just months after 3GPP officially initiated 6G standardization discussions.

AI-RAN Technology Demonstration

Samsung demonstrated its AI-RAN (Radio Access Network) technology, a system that autonomously optimizes network quality without the need for human intervention. This technology leverages machine learning to make real-time decisions about signal routing, power allocation, and interference management. This represents a fundamental shift from traditional network operations that require extensive human oversight.

Global Partnership Strategy

The company has initiated collaborations with major carriers including KT in Korea, SoftBank and KDDI Research in Japan, and has joined Verizon’s 6G Innovation Forum. Samsung’s Executive Vice President JinGuk Jeong emphasized the company’s focus on “integrating AI into communication systems to maximize user experience and network operational efficiency”. This positions Samsung as a leader in the transition from 5G to 6G technology.
