Freeman Holdings Group Strengthens Texas Presence with Texas Aero FBO Acquisition
Freeman Holdings Group has successfully acquired the Texas Aero FBO at Waco Regional Airport. This strategic acquisition expands the Freeman Jet Center network to 24 locations nationwide, thereby fortifying its general aviation presence in Texas. The purchase, which came into effect on October 30, includes Texas Aero’s full-service FBO operations. These operations will be rebranded as Freeman Jet Center-Waco.
Under the new ownership, Freeman Jet Center-Waco will retain the experienced FBO staff of Texas Aero. This decision aims to ensure the continuity of service while also introducing new equipment and modern amenities. Furthermore, Freeman Holdings has plans for infrastructure improvements, including the construction of a new hangar. This will expand the facility’s capacity for both based and transient aircraft.
The facility will continue to offer AVTRIP pilot loyalty rewards, competitive fuel prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel pricing, and Avfuel Pro Card acceptance. This will be possible through its continued participation in the Avfuel Network. In addition, Texas Aero Jet Sales will continue to operate independently under existing ownership.
This acquisition follows Freeman’s earlier expansions in Lubbock and Abilene in 2025. It serves as a testament to the company’s commitment to growing its premium FBO network across Texas.
