AURA AERO’s INTEGRAL R: A New Milestone in Training Aircraft with EASA Certification

AURA AERO has proudly announced the EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) certification of its INTEGRAL R, a two-seat trainer aircraft with aerobatic capabilities. This significant achievement comes merely six years post the initiation of its design phase, and a mere four and a half years following its maiden flight in June 2020.

The INTEGRAL R is the pioneer aircraft in the INTEGRAL family, designed and constructed by AURA AERO. This certification represents a significant milestone for the French manufacturer, marking a new era in their journey.

The certification is a result of an extensive ground and flight test campaign, which served to validate the aircraft’s design and manufacturing processes. The initial production line is set to build the INTEGRAL family of two-seat, aerobatic-capable training aircraft. The offering will initially feature a Lycoming piston engine, with plans to subsequently introduce a 100% electric version.

This accomplishment strategically positions AURA AERO to compete in the burgeoning market for modern flight training aircraft. It addresses the aviation industry’s ongoing demand for qualified pilots and updated training platforms.
