Nighthawk Flight Systems Set to Launch Guardian Avionics Suite in December 2025

Vista, California-based Nighthawk Flight Systems has announced the launch of its much-anticipated Guardian Avionics Suite. The delivery of the advanced system is set to commence in December 2025. The pricing for a single display system starts at $33,200, and for dual displays, it is $39,900.

The Guardian system is equipped with up to two surface-mounted 11.6-inch Full HD sunlight-readable touchscreen displays. These are connected to the central computing hub, known as the “NEST”, through a single cable interface. The system’s initial capabilities include AD/AHRS, TAWS, aviation charts, maps, and seamless integration with existing aircraft systems such as Garmin and Avidyne GPS navigators.

With a weight that is up to 50% lighter than comparable avionics, the Guardian system is initially available for Part 23 Class I/II, Part 22, and Experimental aircraft. CEO Paul Martin highlighted the system’s “highest definition 3D synthetic vision in the world” and its comprehensive display information, which includes data on obstacles, weather, terrain, and traffic.

During the first quarter of 2026, the Guardian system will be expanded to include 7-inch displays and additional features. This expansion will enhance the system’s capabilities, making it an attractive option for general aviation aircraft owners seeking advanced glass cockpit technology at affordable prices.
