Introducing Garmin’s Next-Gen D2 Aviator Smartwatches with Voice Control
Garmin has recently launched two advanced aviator smartwatches, the D2 Air X15 and D2 Mach 2. These cutting-edge timepieces, announced on October 22, 2025, are a significant leap forward in wearable aviation technology, featuring advanced aviation technology and voice command capabilities.
D2 Air X15
Priced at $649.99, the D2 Air X15 comes with a bright AMOLED touchscreen protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It also includes an LED flashlight and PlaneSync compatibility for remote aircraft monitoring.
D2 Mach 2
The premium D2 Mach 2 is available in 47mm ($1,349.99) and 51mm ($1,499.99) sizes. It boasts advanced aviation maps with detailed topography and weather alerts when conditions exceed pilot-defined minimums.
Voice Commands and Avionics Connectivity
Both watches support voice commands such as “Start Fly activity” and “Show me the METAR.” They also offer avionics connectivity through the Garmin Pilot app.
Battery Life
The D2 Air X15 provides up to 10 days of battery life, while the D2 Mach 2 offers up to 26 days in smartwatch mode.
