World Travel Market 2024: A Record-Breaking Gathering with 4,000 Exhibitors
World Travel Market London 2024 is poised to be the most significant edition in the event’s history, with an estimated 4,000 exhibitors and over 45,000 verified travel professionals in attendance.
The event is scheduled to take place from November 5-7 at ExCeL London, starting on a Tuesday. The show is witnessing a 7% growth and has expanded into new halls to accommodate the increasing demand.
The event boasts of more than 80 new exhibitors and a 9% increase in destination participation. Over 135 National Tourism Organizations are expected to be present. Africa is emerging as the fastest-growing region, thanks to proactive strategies by nations such as Morocco and Egypt in post-pandemic recovery.
The show has experienced remarkable growth in non-destination travel brands, with a 71% increase in companies joining the new ‘Experiences’ zone. Accommodation brands have shown a 22% growth, while the technology sector’s participation has increased by 16%.
“2024 will be the best year yet for World Travel Market, with the largest cohort of exhibitors on record,” said Juliette Losardo, Exhibitor Director at WTM London.
The event serves as the most influential meeting point in the travel and tourism calendar. It provides three days of networking, learning, and business opportunities for industry professionals looking to position themselves for 2025.
