Collins Aerospace’s Innovative Venue Smart Monitor Set to Debut on Falcon 7X
Collins Aerospace, a unit of RTX, has announced the forthcoming integration of its cutting-edge Venue smart monitor with Airshow HD. The service is set to debut on a Dassault Falcon 7X in November 2025. This exciting development was unveiled at the ongoing NBAA-BACE 2025 convention in Las Vegas.
The Venue smart monitor is a comprehensive entertainment solution for business aviation. It delivers 4K resolutions, flight information, and streaming entertainment directly to aircraft cabins. The Dassault Falcon Jet’s service center in Little Rock, Arkansas, will be installing two of these smart monitors with Airshow HD into the cabin bulkhead.
“The activation of the first Venue smart monitor with Airshow HD marks a significant shift in business aviation in-flight entertainment,” said Craig Bries, vice president and general manager of Commercial Avionics at Collins Aerospace. “The system is designed to eliminate excess hardware while reducing aircraft power consumption and simplifying ongoing maintenance.”
The Venue smart monitor comes in five sizes, with options for touchscreen and ultra-high-definition. It’s compatible with a range of aircraft, from very light jets to heavy aircraft. This offers flexibility for various cabin layouts and budgets.
