Air France Leads the Way with Free Starlink Wi-Fi Across Its Fleet

Air France has successfully launched its free Starlink Wi-Fi service across multiple aircraft types, marking its position as the first major European airline to offer unlimited high-speed internet connectivity. The rollout, which kicked off in September 2025, initially covers Embraer E190 regional jets and Airbus A220 aircraft.

The ultra-high-speed service, powered by SpaceX’s Starlink satellite network, provides a “ground-like” internet experience for all Flying Blue loyalty program members at no additional cost. Passengers can now enjoy streaming content, playing games, and staying connected on multiple devices simultaneously across all cabin classes.

Air France has ambitious plans for the future. By the end of 2025, the airline aims to equip 30% of its fleet with this service, with the goal of achieving complete fleet coverage by late 2026. In addition to this, the airline is also introducing redesigned Embraer 190 cabins featuring lighter, more sustainable seating made from carbon fiber, titanium, and aluminum. This initiative further solidifies Air France’s position as Europe’s premium connectivity leader in aviation.
