BeautyHealth Announces Pedro Malha as New CEO in Leadership Shift
The Beauty Health Company, renowned for its flagship brand Hydrafacial, has declared the appointment of Pedro Malha as President and Chief Executive Officer. This change in leadership will take effect from October 1, 2025. Malha, a veteran with over two decades of experience in healthcare and medical devices, will be succeeding Marla Beck. Beck stepped down on September 30, 2025, to explore advisory roles.
Malha’s most recent role was as the Worldwide Division President and Corporate Officer at Abbott Laboratories, where he spearheaded the neuromodulation business. His illustrious career also includes senior leadership roles at Zimmer Biomet Holdings and Johnson & Johnson. Board Chairman Brent Saunders lauded Malha’s ability to “navigate complex global markets and build collaborative, high-performing teams.”
Under Beck’s stewardship, BeautyHealth underwent a significant transformation. The company not only strengthened its innovation pipeline and improved operational efficiency but also sustained Hydrafacial’s standing as a leading performance skin health brand. Currently, the company operates over 35,000 active devices worldwide, with consumables contributing to more than 70% of its revenue.
