New Codeshare Agreement: A Revolution in Travel Between Vietnam and Singapore
Vietnam Airlines and Singapore Airlines are poised to transform travel between Singapore and Vietnam. A comprehensive new codeshare agreement, effective from October 26, 2025, will significantly enhance connectivity and offer passengers unprecedented flexibility when traveling between these two Southeast Asian nations.
Under this agreement, Singapore Airlines will codeshare on Vietnam Airlines-operated flights connecting Singapore with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Conversely, Vietnam Airlines will codeshare on Singapore Airlines-operated flights between Singapore and Da Nang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City.
The codeshare flights will be available for sale starting October 10, 2025. Both airlines’ sales channels and travel agents will handle bookings. This arrangement allows passengers to book flights across both networks using a single ticket, thereby streamlining the booking process and travel experience.
This strategic partnership aims to increase operational effectiveness by reducing travel time and providing seamless connectivity. The agreement is expected to significantly boost business and leisure travel between Singapore and Vietnam, stimulating tourism and economic growth in both countries.
