Revolutionizing Retail: The Beauty Tech Boom and Its Transformative Impact on Shopping

The beauty industry is currently undergoing a significant retail transformation, with a plethora of brands making their debut in major retailers nationwide. This expansion reflects the increasing consumer demand for accessible, premium beauty products across a variety of retail channels.

K-beauty brand Torriden has broadened its reach to over 350 Sephora outlets. On the other hand, the TikTok-viral fragrance brand Dossier has made its way into 1,400 CVS Pharmacy locations, offering eight of their bestselling scents, each priced at $29.

Meanwhile, Ritual, a supplement brand that surpassed a whopping $250 million in revenue in 2024, has launched its range in 300 Ulta Beauty stores. Their offerings include melatonin supplements and prenatal vitamins.

AquaSonic, an oral care brand, is now available in 1,400 Walmart stores. The luxury haircare brand Oribe has made its entry into approximately 50 Sephora stores, after being an online-exclusive since 2021.

Clean beauty brands are also making their mark. The organic brand Ogee is expanding to 14 additional Nordstrom doors. Meanwhile, the Australian body care brand Biotyspa is launching at Sephora with its signature $147 Body Sculpt Kit.
