Gulfstream Achieves Major Milestone with First G800 Ultra-Long Range Business Jet Delivery
Gulfstream Aerospace has proudly delivered its first G800 ultra-long range business jet to an undisclosed customer. This marks a significant achievement for the newest flagship aircraft in the aviation industry. The delivery comes on the heels of the jet’s FAA and EASA certification in April 2025.
The G800 boasts an impressive range of 8,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85. This makes it capable of connecting cities like New York to Sydney nonstop. “We have seen astounding demand for the G800,” said Mark Burns, Gulfstream president. The aircraft features the industry’s lowest cabin altitude and can be configured with up to four living areas.
With a price tag of $72.5 million, the G800 replaces the popular G650 series. It represents Gulfstream’s commitment to ultra-long range travel in an era of increasing global conflicts and no-fly zones. The company aims to deliver 13 G800s by the end of 2025.
