Revolutionary Design Unveiled as Apple Reopens Flagship Ginza Store

Apple proudly announced the grand reopening of its Apple Ginza store in Tokyo on September 26, 2025. This event marks a significant milestone for the tech giant’s retail presence in Japan. The reimagined four-story flagship store is a showcase of Apple’s latest retail innovations and cutting-edge design elements.

The new Apple Ginza features an all-new architectural design that unifies Apple’s complete product ecosystem, services, and customer experiences under one roof. The store, originally opened in 2003, was Apple’s first retail location outside the United States. It holds special significance as the launching point for Apple’s global retail expansion.

“Apple Ginza holds a special place in our hearts as our very first Retail store outside the U.S., and its opening more than 20 years ago marked a new chapter in how we connect with our customers around the world,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO.

The reopening coincides with special Today at Apple sessions featuring supergroup Number_i, creating unique experiences for customers.

Apple’s operation in Japan spans over 40 years, employing more than 4,000 team members. The renovated store represents Apple’s commitment to providing exceptional retail experiences while honoring its long-standing relationship with Japanese customers and culture.
