Oura Health Secures $875M Funding, Boosting Valuation to $11B
Oura Health Oy, the Finnish innovator of the acclaimed Oura Ring health tracker, has successfully raised $875 million in a Series E funding round. This substantial investment places the company’s valuation at an impressive $11 billion, effectively doubling the $5 billion valuation from its Series D round concluded in November of the previous year. This marks one of the most significant health technology funding rounds of 2025.
The company has witnessed a meteoric rise, selling a staggering 5.5 million rings to date, with 3 million of these sales occurring in the past year alone. Oura is on a trajectory to generate over $1 billion in revenue in 2025, which is double its $500 million revenue from 2024. The company’s growth forecasts suggest a potential revenue of $1.5 billion by 2026. This growth surge is largely attributed to female consumers, retail partnerships, and international expansion into markets such as Japan and Germany.
The newly acquired funding is set to fuel product innovation, manufacturing scale-up, and global retail expansion. This comes at a crucial time as Oura faces stiff competition from tech behemoths like Apple and Samsung, who have recently entered the smart ring market. The US military continues to be Oura’s largest business customer, utilizing the rings for fatigue tracking and research among its service members.
