Louis Vuitton Debuts Its First-Ever Makeup Collection Featuring $160 Lipsticks

Marking a historic moment for the luxury fashion house, Louis Vuitton has officially unveiled its inaugural makeup collection, La Beauté Louis Vuitton. The collection is the brainchild of renowned makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath, who served as the Creative Director. The line includes 55 lipsticks, 10 lip balms, and 8 eyeshadow palettes, all set to launch on August 29th.

The premium pricing mirrors the luxury positioning of the brand. Lipsticks and lip balms are priced at $160 each, while eyeshadow palettes come with a price tag of $250. All products are housed in refillable packaging designed by industrial designer Konstantin Grcic, featuring the iconic LV monogram.

McGrath has meticulously crafted the shades to be universally flattering. Standout colors include 896 Monogram Rouge (inspired by LV’s brown canvas and classic red), 203 Rose Odyssée, and 854 Rouge Louis. The lipsticks are not only visually appealing but also nourishing, being infused with shea butter and hyaluronic acid. Additionally, they carry a signature scent by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, featuring notes of mimosa, jasmine, and rose.
