Unveiling La Beauté Louis Vuitton: A $160 Lipstick Collection by Louis Vuitton and Pat McGrath
Louis Vuitton has officially launched its eagerly awaited makeup line, La Beauté Louis Vuitton. The collection, which features the renowned makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath as Creative Director, is set to make its global debut on August 29, 2025.
The collection boasts of 55 lipsticks and 10 lip balms, each priced at $160. Additionally, it includes eight eyeshadow palettes priced at $250. The lipsticks are available in two distinct finishes:
- 27 creamy satins
- 28 velvety mattes
Each lipstick is enriched with shea butter, hyaluronic acid, and upcycled waxes derived from rose, jasmine, and mimosa flowers. The products come in refillable packaging adorned with LV’s signature monogram.
In the words of McGrath, “What we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty.” The collection features key shades such as Monogram Rouge, inspired by LV’s iconic brown canvas, and Rouge Louis, a rich scarlet red.
The collection will be available for purchase at 92 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide and select retailers like Harrods. This marks the brand’s ambitious foray into the competitive luxury cosmetics market.
