Apple Unveils Advanced AI Capabilities Across All Devices

Apple today announced significant enhancements to Apple Intelligence, introducing powerful new AI capabilities across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro. The advanced features are now available for developer testing, with a public beta set to launch next month.

The updates include advanced visual intelligence, improved Siri functionality, and innovative health monitoring capabilities. Key features include:

  • The ability to add calendar events through visual intelligence on iPhone 16 models and iPhone 15 Pro series.
  • A new ‘Workout Buddy’ feature for Apple Watch that offers AI-powered fitness coaching.

Upon launch, Apple Intelligence will support nine languages including English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese. Additional languages are expected to be added by the end of the year.

The rollout will affect iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro series, iPad mini with the new A17 Pro chip, and Mac models with M1 chips or later. Apple has emphasized a privacy-first approach to AI processing, with most computations taking place on-device rather than in the cloud.

In addition, Apple announced updates to its developer requirements. Starting April 24, 2025, apps will need to be built with Xcode 16.
