Avidyne Vantage 12: A Game-Changing Upgrade Now Accessible to 4,000+ Cirrus Aircraft
Avidyne Corporation has recently achieved FAA certification for its groundbreaking Vantage 12 Flight Display System. This upgrade targets over 4,000 Entegra-equipped and pre-Entegra Cirrus SR20/SR22 Series aircraft for retrofit upgrades.
The system boasts dual 12-inch LCD touchscreen displays, a significant improvement over the 20-year-old legacy Entegra avionics. The Vantage 12 upgrade is packed with advanced features, including:
- 3D synthetic vision
- Terrain awareness
- Dual attitude and heading reference systems (AHRS)
- Split-screen mapping capabilities
“We are delighted to announce that Vantage 12 is now certified and initial deliveries and customer installations are in process,” said Dan Schwinn, Avidyne’s CEO.
The base configuration is priced at $33,000 (with Entegra core return). This modular upgrade allows customers the flexibility to upgrade in stages or all at once. Avidyne’s EZ Install Kit minimizes aircraft downtime during installation, making the transition from legacy systems more efficient for operators.
