Aviation marketplace GlobalAir.com has rolled out a powerful new tool for pilots, aircraft buyers, and flight departments: on-demand Operating Cost Reports (OC) covering more than 200 aircraft types, ranging from single-piston trainers all the way up to ultra-long-range business jets.

The reports, available at $90 per report, deliver both annual and hourly ownership and operating cost figures. What sets the GlobalAir.com OC reports apart from competitors is their use of live fuel pricing data sourced daily from a network of over 3,500 FBOs (Fixed-Base Operators) across the country — a critical advantage given that fuel can account for more than half of a turbine aircraft’s annual operating budget.

“The fuel line on an operating report alone can swing an annual budget by tens of thousands of dollars, so getting it right, and showing our work, is the whole point,” said Clay Martin, COO of GlobalAir.com. The reports are fully transparent, with every number sourced and every assumption made visible to the user.

For context, the latest GlobalAir.com report prices the Bombardier Challenger 3500 at $5,929 per flight hour based on 375 annual hours, while a Gulfstream G450 clocks in at $9,170 per hour. The tool is designed to help prospective buyers and operators make well-informed financial decisions before committing to an aircraft purchase or charter arrangement.
