Nvidia Invests $1.5B in Israel’s Most Significant AI Server Farm

Tech titan Nvidia is marking a significant entry into the Middle East by finalizing plans to establish Israel’s most extensive server farm. This venture will be located in the Mevo Carmel Science and Industry Park near Yokneam, northern Israel. The total investment is projected to be around $1.5 billion. This cost will be split between Nvidia and the local real estate firm, Mega Or DC. The two companies are currently in advanced negotiations to lease a data center, which is under construction.

The facility will span an impressive 30,000 square meters (approximately 323,000 sq ft) and will utilize around 64 megawatts of power. This energy capacity is enough to power tens of thousands of homes, making it the most potent AI computing cluster in the region. The server farm will be equipped with Nvidia’s state-of-the-art Blackwell processors and a supercomputer. It will be situated adjacent to Nvidia’s existing server farm in Ramot Menashe.

Upon completion, the facility will evolve into Nvidia’s largest laboratory center outside the United States. This development will solidify Israel’s position as the company’s second-largest global R&D hub, employing over 5,000 people. Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, has publicly referred to Israel as the company’s “second home.” The construction is slated to commence in 2027, with the campus expected to open its doors around 2031.
