Apple Prepares to Launch HomeView Hub, Updated Apple TV & HomePod Mini

Apple is poised for a significant smart home unveiling at its “Welcome home” event on October 13 in New York City. The tech giant is set to announce three innovative products: the all-new HomeView smart home hub, a revamped Apple TV 4K, and an upgraded HomePod mini.

The HomeView, Apple’s eagerly anticipated entry into the smart home display market, will function as a Siri AI command center for the home, powered by an A18 chip. It will be available in two models: a countertop version with a metal speaker base in space gray, silver, starlight, and pink, and a wall-mounted model in space gray and silver. As reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the HomeView is slated to reach customers by mid-November.

The updated Apple TV 4K, featuring an A19 chip, and the refreshed HomePod mini, equipped with an S10 chip, are projected to be available to customers and in stores by October 30. The HomePod mini will also be available in new color options, including pink and green. Both devices are engineered to support Apple’s enhanced Siri AI capabilities, marking a significant foray into the connected home ecosystem.
