JetBlue Amplifies Fort Lauderdale Hub with Fresh Routes & Enhanced Premium Mint

JetBlue Airways unveiled a substantial expansion at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) on July 23, 2025. This expansion includes the addition of four new destinations and an enhancement of its premium Mint service. The airline is set to initiate year-round nonstop service to Atlanta, Austin, Norfolk, and Tampa. The rollout of these routes will commence in late October and continue through early December.

This expansion underscores JetBlue’s dedication to its South Florida focus city. Currently, it operates 72 daily departures to 31 destinations. By December 2025, this figure is projected to escalate to 95 daily departures serving 37 cities. This represents a 6% year-over-year increase in departures.

JetBlue is also significantly augmenting its premium Mint experience. It will offer lie-flat seating on every flight between Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and San Francisco this winter. With 13 daily Mint flights from Fort Lauderdale, the airline will provide more transcontinental lie-flat capacity from South Florida than any other carrier.

“Fort Lauderdale has long been a key market for JetBlue, and we’re excited to keep growing with the region,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships.

The expansion comes as JetBlue concluded service at Miami International Airport in September, consolidating its South Florida operations at Fort Lauderdale where it holds a 19% market share.
