Global Hotel Alliance Achieves Record Q3 Revenue of $1.04B, Up by 27%

The Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), recognized as the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, has announced a milestone third quarter for 2026. The alliance generated a record-breaking US$1.04 billion in total revenue, marking a 27% increase year-on-year. This significant growth, announced on October 8, is attributed to the surge in international travel, increase in direct bookings, and enhanced loyalty engagement across the group’s portfolio.

The total room revenue saw a 28% increase, reaching US$843 million. This was bolstered by a 33% rise in room nights and a 6% increase in the average length of stay. International room nights were particularly robust, with a 40% increase generating US$589 million in revenue. As of the first nine months of 2026, GHA’s total revenue has now reached US$2.8 billion, a 21% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

The alliance’s loyalty program, GHA DISCOVERY, also achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 38 million members. This was driven by a 17% increase in new enrolments in Q3, amounting to 1.3 million. The program’s DISCOVERY Dollars redemptions surged by 58%, while cross-brand revenues soared by 53% to US$168 million. Spain led all GHA markets with US$73 million in room revenue, a 33% increase. This was followed by the UK (+28%), UAE (+75%), Thailand (+48%), and Italy (+18%).
