Kiehl’s Unveils Impressive European Flagship Store on London’s Iconic Carnaby Street
L’Oréal-owned skincare titan, Kiehl’s, has proudly inaugurated its latest European flagship store at 43 Carnaby Street, London. This unique beauty boutique stands out in the UK with its 1,300-square-foot, two-floor space that perfectly combines the brand’s renowned New York apothecary heritage with innovative, immersive retail experiences tailored for the contemporary beauty consumer.
The store is equipped with Derma Readers for in-store personalised skin analysis and an engaging Brew Bar that pairs Kiehl’s skincare ingredients with customers’ specific moods and skin needs. Additional features include custom screen printing, a photo booth, and the entire upper floor dedicated to Kiehl’s first-ever European content studio. This space is specifically designed for creators, collaborative filming, and community events.
“Carnaby Street is a legendary retail destination, and it is rapidly evolving into a key epicentre for beauty in London,” stated Niki Lo, General Manager for Kiehl’s UK. With the opening of this flagship store, Kiehl’s UK network expands to 18 boutiques, positioning the UK as one of the brand’s three largest European markets, as per parent company L’Oréal. The Carnaby Street flagship joins the brand’s existing store at 55 Monmouth Street in London’s West End, and its launch follows closely behind Sephora’s own Carnaby Street boutique debut.
As Kiehl’s nears its 175th anniversary, the landmark store represents a significant investment in physical, experiential retail, underlining its importance in the brand’s future growth strategy.
