Nvidia Invests $1.5B in Israel’s Largest AI Server Farm

Tech giant Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) is making a significant stride in the Middle East. The company has announced plans to construct Israel’s largest server farm. This $1.5 billion venture will establish Nvidia’s largest laboratory and computing campus outside the United States.

As reported by Israeli business news outlet Calcalist, Nvidia is in the final stages of a lease agreement with real estate firm Mega Or DC. The agreement is for a data center currently under construction at the Mevo Carmel Science and Industry Park near Yokneam, in northern Israel. The facility will cover approximately 30,000 square meters and will consume up to 64 megawatts of power. This makes it one of the largest data center complexes in the Middle East.

The new campus will utilize Nvidia’s advanced Blackwell processors and will feature a supercomputer. Construction is slated to commence in 2027, with full completion expected by 2031. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang referred to Israel as “NVIDIA’s second home,” stating that the campus will serve as a hub for AI innovation and collaboration.

Israel already functions as Nvidia’s second-largest R&D hub outside the US, housing over 5,000 employees across various facilities. This new investment significantly expands that presence and demonstrates the company’s steadfast commitment to AI infrastructure growth, despite the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the region.
