Beecee: A New Era of Clean Beauty for Gen Z by Beautycounter’s Founder
Clean beauty pioneer, Gregg Renfrew, the mastermind behind the billion-dollar company, Beautycounter, unveiled her latest venture, beecee, on September 15, 2026. Aimed at consumers aged 14 to 30, beecee brings a fresh, community-first approach to the beauty industry.
The standout feature of beecee is its pre-launch community building. The brand successfully cultivated a community of over 25,000 women spanning all 50 U.S. states before the introduction of a single product. This grassroots audience, grown organically through word-of-mouth and social media, had the privilege of early access to product testing. Their feedback directly influenced the brand’s debut assortment of four multitasking clean beauty essentials, including lip gloss, skin balm, and face mist.
Eschewing traditional influencer programs, beecee introduces a novel Collective Commerce model. This model rewards members for brand advocacy, while also providing mentorship, education, and career development opportunities. Renfrew has plans to extend community events to 10 U.S. cities and initiate a university-focused program on college campuses this fall.
“Beecee is about bringing that learning into a new conversation, with a generation that is asking for beauty to work differently,” Renfrew shared with NewBeauty.
